In this workshop you will learn the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) significance of summertime and how to stay healthy and balanced throughput the season. We will do a qi gong (movement meditation) specific to summertime to relax our bodies and then sit for the tea meditation. I make special ceremonial teas for these workshops with secret ingredients that make them smell and taste amazing. The final portion of class is a deeply meditative savasana experience (laying down). You will come away from this workshop with several different ways to practice meditation, all which lead to a deep state of relaxation that you can bring into your daily life. Once you learn how to meditate, you will see it's much easier and more pleasant than you think. My classes are full of positive messages and affirmations. These workshops are meant to be opportunities to deeply let go, heal and fill yourself up with peace and positivity so that being in your own mind is an easy and beautiful place to be. Wherever you are and wherever you go in life, you always have your breath. Learning to use it as a way to practice peace is an incredible tool.
